A new update to StataNow has just been released

A new update to StataNow is available. You can update your copy of StataNow to access the latest features, including the following:

Nonlinear heterogeneous difference in differences (DID) for panel data. With the new xthdidfracreg, xthdidlogit, and xthdidpoisson commands, you can fit heterogeneous DID panel-data models for fractional, binary, and count outcomes. Estimate heterogeneous average treatment effects on the treated, test for parallel pretreatment trends, aggregate average treatment effects on the treated within cohort or time, explore effects of exposure to treatment over time, and obtain moderating effects.

Jackknife-after-bootstrap standard errors. You can use bootstrap‘s new jab option to obtain jackknife-after-bootstrap standard errors and evaluate how precisely the bootstrap standard error was estimated.

Forest plot enhancements. meta forestplot now allows you to create more informative forest plots. With the new robias() option, you can display color-coded risk-of-bias assessments alongside study results. And with the new plot() option, you can display multiple sets of effect sizes and confidence intervals side by side in the same forest plot.

Find and replace in Word documents. The new putdocx findreplace command allows you to find and replace text in Word documents.

We’ve also recently added new features that are available to everyone with Stata 19 and StataNow 19.

Progress indicator for use. The use command now displays a progress indicator in the output when loading a dataset that takes more than three seconds.

Improved optimization for treatment-effects estimation. The teffects aipw, teffects ipwra, and teffects ipw commands have a new standardizeovar option to standardize the dependent variable in the outcome equation, which may help with numerical stability during optimization for models that do not converge otherwise.
